The Basics…
Pool Bridge is a wild-swimming venue for those wishing to partake in open-water swimming in water that is free from sewage, and field runoff and regularly tested for bacteria and algae.
To help maintain peace and tranquillity we do not allow alcoholic drinks, smoking/vaping or music anywhere around the lakes or cafe.
The Monet Lake is a tranquil, adult-only lake, therefore please keep noise to a minimum in and around this lake.
No pets or dogs are allowed on site, except for guide dogs.
All those using the lakes and lakeside must have a valid ticket. For the safety and privacy of those using the lakes, there are strictly no visitors allowed.
The use of the facilities at Pool Bridge Farm is done so entirely at your own risk. We encourage all those participating in activities to make yourselves fully aware of the risks involved and we ask that all fully comply with our rules.
All those using the lakes alone must be competent swimmers able to swim unaided for at least 50m.
All non-swimmers, including babes in arms, must wear a life vest when in or near the lakes, and be accompanied by a responsible adult, who is and be able to swim 50m, at all times.
Lockers are available in the change barn, you just need your own padlock.
Paddle-boarding is on the Q Lake only during designated times. Please see our website for details.
We open daily from 7:30am and close at sunset, or 9:00pm, whichever is the earlier.
The café is open 10am to 4pm on Wednesdays & Thursdays; 9am to 4pm Friday to Sunday. The cafe is closed on Mondays & Tuesdays but opens on bank holidays.
Paying…
Tickets are required for all those wishing to gain access to the lakes or lakeside even if you are not swimming, with the exception of a spotter during winter for solo swimmers.
Tickets for swimming must be pre-purchased on the website.
Spot checks are regularly carried out. Anyone lakeside without a valid ticket will be asked to immediately leave and never return.
Booking of the sauna also allows unlimited swimming on the day, therefore is no need to book a separate swimming ticket.
Moon swims must be pre-booked as they are limited and are separate from Swimming day tickets, these do not cover Moon Swims.
Q Lake SUP tickets must be pre-booked.
