Children are welcome on lakeside until the warms up, once the water has been consistently offer 12 degrees children’s swim tickets will be available online.

We are open every day from 7:30am until 7:30 pm in April and 8 am-8 pm from May to September, with pass holders available to swim from 6:30 am. All customers wishing to gain access to the lake or lakeside must have a valid ticket.

Please note there is no jumping in allowed in any of the lakes other than Q lake, due to varied depth. Please use the designated entrances and exits. It is advised that you aclimatise youself slowly to the water rather than jumping in.

The Q Lake is our family lake and a favourite of the early-morning swimmers too. The 7-acre lake offers big horizons, abundant wildlife, and stunning scenery along with Jetties and ramps at entry points for lots of fun this Summer. This is the lake to head to if you have children with you or are coming as a large group, the laughter from this lake as the water warms up fills the air on warm spring days and those scorching summer days we are all hoping for. The Q lake is also where you can paddleboard or use your inflatable kayaks. We don’t hire boards out so you need to bring your own and a 2-hour timeslot needs to be pre-booked. See our SUP page for more information.

The Monet Lake is a tranquil lake with the lake and lakeside to be used for activities such as relaxing, reading, meditating or chatting quietly with a friend. The 200m long lake, situated just through the open changing area, takes its name from Claude Monet, the French impressionist painter, due to the large lily pads that run down the centre of the lake. Steps provide easy access to this stunning lake with its large grass banks providing plenty of room to relax after a swim.

The M Lake, shaped like the letter ‘M’, is around 500m around the perimeter of this lake, depending on the route taken. Our Saunas are situated around M Lake (or will be from mid-May). The decking areas around the saunas will be kept as a tranquil zone. If you are only swimming, please use the other entry points that are not the sauna steps.

The Horseshoe Lake with its 300m circuit, is a favourite for many of our regular swimmers. This lake tends to be quite peaceful, however lots of swimmers use this lake for exercise and training. The lake can be found to the left of the track heading to the Meadows campsite.

Swimming facilities include 4 lakeside saunas, ladies, gents & disabled toilets, an open changing barn (which has 2 small female and male changing areas for privacy), a male and female changing huts for those with a sauna booked, a changing hut at Q lake and a new toilet and shower block coming at the end of April. The outdoor showers are for swimmers and the indoor showers are for campers. We also have an onsite Café (open every day except Tuesday).

Our lakes are home to lots of wildlife and we therefore only welcome those who respect the wildlife and wish to immerse themselves in the natural tranquillity of the lakes. We respectfully ask that there is no music, alcohol, no smoking or unsociable behaviour at all, and, if you are not prepared to follow the rules, please feel free to head elsewhere.

By purchasing a ticket you understand that USE OF THE LAKES AND LAKESIDE IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
