The Stables Café at Pool Bridge Farm
Before being converted into a café, as its name suggests, "The Stables Café," was once a working stable and was home to many Shire Horses that worked the farmland on Pool Bridge Farm. Violet and Tidy were the last residents of the building before they retired in the late 1950's.
The "Stables" Breakfast has gained a reputation for its size, value for money and quality, with all the meats being sourced from a local butcher and the free-range eggs also being sourced locally. Hot and cold meals, snacks and beverages are served throughout the opening hours. An outdoor seating area is also provided for when the sun is shining.
The Stables café is open Tuesday to Sunday throughout the summer months and on weekends only out of season.
